There's been a setback. As a consequence Maddy is now having to wear the equivalent of a leper's bell.
(The other side reads "I'm on a diet").
The latest weigh-in revealed she'd put all the weight back on. We've been fastidious with the food quantities and have ruled out diabetes so the only conclusion we can reach is that a well meaning neighbour is getting taken in by her "my owners starve me" dramatics.

This is worrying news Helen. The message on the collar might just encourage the 'anti-diet' brigade to feed the poor animal. You could consider changing the message to 'nil by mouth' suggesting a threat to the cat's health if fed - or consider a stomach staple !!
BTW, how did you manage to solve the weighing problem ?

Can you make me one of those collars please.
Lost pounds are now back on and they've kindly brought some mates to join in.

Eek, I hadn't thought of that Harry. Though we have discovered that our friend who looks after her if we're not around was accidently feeding her double portions for a few days. I get her weighted at the vets when I pick up more food.
