If there is a better way to start the day than partaking in the democratic process then I don't know what it is.
I love the naffness of it all, only the British could make such an important process feel like a jumble sale. Our local polling station (St. Marys in Ealing) was staffed by ladies and gentlemen who all looked like retired music teachers, though of course they took their responsibilities very seriously - I was asked by the lady who crosses your name of the list to repeat my name and address (for security reasons) just after I had handed her my voting card (which mentions name and address)...jedi mind trick?
I'd vote everyday if I could.
