Cranky charm (Podcast).
I recorded a podcast with Richard Huntington of United London this afternoon.
Richard's legendary crankiness was partially in evidence, but mostly his sharp insights into the industry and provocative thoughts around branding dominated the proceedings.
What I found most interesting about talking to Richard was that he was prepared to let it all hang out, contradict himself, debate the point on the fly, before giving his conclusion; I found that really refreshing.
So thanks Richard. Stay provocative. Stay contradictory. Stay cranky. Stay interesting.

Be interested in your thoughts on the interview Henry (and obviously anyone else's too).
Normal service now resumed at 'Life in the middle' - watch out for; red socks, weather, and maybe dog pictures...

Richard's connection between thought and mouth is far better than most. And his brain itself is up there too. I found when I met him that I kept wanting to pause on certain ideas. Turn them over in my head. But he's too quick for that. So with this I could, which was good.
Nice interviewing. Please don't start getting the editing scissors out.

Don't worry - editing is not in my repertoire.
