I shall be visiting with Dan from Innocent this Thursday to talk about a few things, hopefully have a cup of tea, maybe a smoothie, and to record a podcast.
Dan's in charge of creative stuff there and has a beard, so it should be quite interesting. Was wondering if there are any particular questions anyone would like me to add to the usual ones I ask.
(It's been ages since I've done one of these, quite anxious.)

"Of course I think we can all agree that this blog is brilliant." - Discuss.

What's Innocent's goal? In the long-term? I'd like to know if it's sales-based or health of the nation based. Or something else.
Also, what are his top 3 beards of all time? Not his, but the beards of other men that he most admires or envies.

What is actually in an Innocent. When i read the packet it says "one of these, one of these, a fifth of that" is that it really, nothing else. I give them to my daughter she likes them a lot its hard to give kids fruit in the Winter so i love them for that. I guess i'm saying i am not sure whether i believe them. How come they last so long? The recycling thing is not very direct either. Is it a normal tetra pack(if so good firelighters!) is it cardboard, can i just put them in with my recycling? Dan has a lot of explaining to do!!!!!!
My boyfriend has a beard, i caught him putting my best olive oil on his clippers this morning. He then proceeded to trim his huge beard. There is hair all over the bathroom.

Will do Em.
Though I should say - you can't mislead on your ingredients list, so that's what's in them. The reason they last so long is because of the (gentle) pasteurisation. Though I should say I'm guessing this and could be wrong.

Being completely un-original and sticking with fruit, I'd like to know if it is possible to have too much fruit and veg per day.... we are all told to have at least 5 portions but is there a ceiling on our daily quota?

Oh dear... I've just read some of previous comments left on this blog and subsequently embarrassed at the seriousness of my question. Not left field enough.... I think I may revert to merely observing this blog.

Looking forward to the Podcast with Dan the Man. My supplementary question to be slipped in at the end is - " what is the current state of play with the Tankard ?"

If nothing is perfect - what is Innocent's flaw?
Oh, and what is the most pesky fruit when it comes to smoothie making?

Do they do human-sized wooly hats like the ones in the picture?
Posted by: The Wife | 11/21/2006 at 04:10 PM
Why do they have to put banana in each smoothie?

I'd like to know what's the masterplan at controlling and maintaining the written 'tone of voice' that is so much of Innocent the brand, as they expand into other countries. One man can't write all the stuff that's needed and a lot of it is going to be in a foreign language to boot. So, what quality control is going to be in place?
I'd also like to know where the tankard is.
Oh and is there any truth in the rumour they were going to be called, red tractor, or fast tractor, something tractor?

You can, if you're stuck for something to say, mention that we at W+K love the Innocent Vans - the cow one and the one covered in grass. They are special things that make you smile when you see them. Got to love those vans.
