So the Tankard was broken, big time. But I went to work on her this lunch time, and I'm pleased to report that she is beginning to look a little more tankard like again.
There are still huge cracks in her body, chips missing, and some fissures that have yet to crack all the way through. I suggest we reinforce her with some kind of tape, otherwise she'll be going no where.
Are we agreed?
Ps. I'm covered in Super Glue.

Agreed Paul - and well done. I am sure she will wear her scars proudly , like the rest of us. Good to have her back.

Yeah good work.
What's the hump thing about?

Agreed. Good work Paul. She looks lovely. Again.

So for drinking purposes, will we just have to put some sort of plastic/glass container inside, to prevent leakage, weakening of the glue or possible poisoning?
Looks great, by the way.

Ben, someone at work rearranged my name so that it reads Mr. Anal Hump Co, funny huh?
Clay, you're right to be cautious.

Tape it, gum it, glue it, seal it. Whatever it takes. Just get that baby to NIgeria. And I think Clay is right - maybe don't drink from it, especially corrosive booze like strong vodka, which may leach the glue from the fissure and cause one to get a Russian headache.
But I'm happy she's fixed.

Don't tell Marcus. He loves anagrams.

Good! Great work!
It looks better than before.
:)
Come on, Paul, this little re-born Tankard wants to visit London and live its live again.

Super Glue really is super; I got in this morning and I was able to comfortably grip her handle and raise her to my lips, being careful to avoid any actual lip contact of course.
I shall tape her anyway, just to be on the safe side, and then take her for a day out on Saturday and see how she does. Then I'll give her to Ben.
Happy days.
