Every time I close my eyes to sleep I start re-living the events of the weekend, when I dream they turn into nightmares in which I can't breathe and I'm falling. Then last night to cap it all I dreamt Russell and Victoria Wood had started an 80s revival band called 'So So So So Good'.
Jesus, this is going to be harder than I thought.

Seek help. Seek it now.

The more I think about it, the more I think it could work.
Maybe TomLR should write a letter to Victoria?

Will they sing the classic 'Can't do it, can't do it, must be something wrong with me.....etc'?

The timing could be right with 'Eurovision' coming up !!
Not sure about the name though.
I'll look forward to TomLR's letter to Victoria.

I'll write one - I'll write one tomorrow. All letters are off for today - because...it's my BIRTHDAY !
I am 34 years old. I was born to be 34 years old - I feel that this year is going to be the very best year of my life - I woke up and I KNEW it.
And don't tell me that 'it's all downhill from here' because it won't feel like that - next year will be just a little bit less brilliant than this year - which will make next year NEARLY the very best year of my life. And so it will go on, until I revise my life and set a new 'this is the best year of my life' agenda.
So happy birthday everyone, and happy birthday me. My young and beautiful daughter sang to me this morning, and gave me a big hug and kiss - and made me feel great, and today has been great too - and I love you all, goodnight.
PS - I'm also learning how to play the bagpipes. How much better can it get ?

you are not 34. Happy Birthday Tom.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Have a great day.
Please keep us all up to date on your progress with the bagpipes. We used to play such classics as
'Piobrach' and 'Bunny Dundee' and an Irish ditty called 'The Little Four Leafed Shamrock from Glendore' - I remember trying to teach Paul to play that one on a tin whistle.

Thanks, Marcus (I am, 'though).
Harry - I have taken my first steps with the Practice Chanter. I have done scales (I wouldn't say I have mastered them) Low G - High A. I am about to put the audio CD into my machine to learn some more. The songs that come with it range from the intriguingly titled 'Nutzliche Informationen' to 'Korrekte Fingerstellungen'. Sound like I would have benefited from that one as a youth - I always was a late developer with the ladies (sorry, Marcus)

Happy birthday Tom. Maybe you could learn to play 'Can't do it, can't do it, must be something wrong with me" by hit group 'So So So So Good' on the bagpipes. That would be good.
And then write a letter to Gazza or maybe Chrissy Waddle to see if they want to sing it, seeing as Victoria Wood probably wouldn't be up for it.

Maybe Russell should choose his partner ? We could give him a list to choose from, and cleverly insert some choice names to make sure he goes for a good one (as opposed to Seth Godin or someone). Here's a start:
- John Craven
- Chrissy Waddle
- Gazza
- Paul Shane
- Su Pollard
- Ruth Madoc
- Jeffrey Holland
...can you see the pattern ?
