...as a keen golfer you've taught me that it's okay to wear pink, no matter what people say. That it's a fine thing to do to buck the trend, to say "to hell with it - I fancy wearing pink, and a suspiciously female pair of sunglasses".
You've also made me realise that there is rarely better time spent, than that with a cup of tea in one hand, and a newspaper in the other - looking after the mind, but also the soul.
And while I may walk my own path, I walk it like you - head down, bobbling along, always slightly off balance, pondering the world, and getting slightly lost along the way.
Thanks Dad, take it slow, and be careful out there - Happy Father's Day.

Thanks Paul - I'm very touched.

Keep it together Dad.

Only real men can wear pink Paul - and I used to work in fashion so I'm pretty qualified to say so. I will also point out however that the T - Shirt you're wearing looks kind of a fuscia as opposed to a pink. That's a nice colour too - but less masculine than the 'pink - worn - like - a - real - man pink'.

Understood Tom. Thanks.

Don't be so mean, or I'll get Rob 'the enforcer' cynic on you.

It's the way you're gripping the railings in that first photo that makes it look like you are using the toilet. That or the floppie flip things at the end of your legs.

Nothing to do with the pink t-shirt then?
Posted by: Paul H. Colman | 06/20/2007 at 10:03 AM
I repeat I have no problem with pink T - Shirts - other than that I doubt the T - Shirt you are wearing is really what I would call pink.

I like pink. I wear a lot of pink, but still manage to look tough. Tom doesn't wear pink. He mainly wears stripes. This is because he is confused.

Tom, can you start a blog about your career history?
Posted by: Ben | 06/22/2007 at 12:46 AM
I do wear pink Dan - really, really frequently - and REAL pink, too - baby pink. That dubiously credible label that everyone gets jizzed up about called 'American Apparel' does a beautiful pink - if you can swallow some of your morals to buy one (OK so they claim to be sweatshop free - but that depends on whose sweat you are concerned about).
I might do a blog POST about my career history, Ben, as opposed to an entire blog itself. A busted computer and the desire to put some photos up that I need to transfer from my digital camera (and an anal compulsion that I seem to share with Kirsty blocking my mind from using any other machine) is putting a stop to my current blogging.
