So for the last 3 days I've had the mysterious 'Walton Fiver'. We've speculated the what, when, where, why, and who. I've folded her, unfolded her, and twiddled her lightly and nervously. But now is the time to send her on her way. The time to give up wondering and pondering. Tomorrow I will take that most splendid of fivers, and exchange for some goods - perhaps a paper, or some gum, or maybe some novelty dog shit.
But just in case someone out there comes across her, and knows Kate Walton, and fancies revealing all, then I've put a little sign-post on the other side - a little trail of bread crumbs if you will.

Good.

Welcome back Ben.

If you should spend the fiver on good or services similar to those which led to your acquiring the eponymous fiver, would that enhance the likelihood of tracking down the wayward Walton?

I suspect you may have just kicked off a wee guerrilla tactic for blog promotion.

Nice use of 'eponymous' John.
I need the hits Charles.
Lauren, that is the dream. Though I think it more likely that some chancer will probably just sign in using her name and proceed to make fun out of the whole thing. People are like that you know.

There's a movie script in this idea, I think.
'An ad execs interest in the name on a bill begins as benign fascination but soon becomes obsessive. He channels all of his hopes and dreams onto this anonomous individual. She's the only thing that provides him respite from the sting of daily life. Who is she really? And why does she have this hold on him.'
Charlie Kaufman (Writer), Michel Gondry (Director), Paul Coleman (Producer)?

A movie - what a cracking idea Rusty.
Who would play the female and male leads? The theme is very similar to 'Loveless in Seattle' or 'Message in a Bottle' - so that would rule out Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan and Kevin Costner.
I'm sure I could persuade Paul to have a crack at the male lead. You could then propose a TV series similar to 'How do you solve a problem like Maria' to find the leading actress (except that her name would be Kate and she wouldn't have to sing).
This could get very big !!!!!!!!!

Nice one John.

Nice idea Rusty.
Though I should point out there is no 'e' on Colman, unless you were referring to a different Paul Colman.

I came across a Sarah Walton today. She doesn't have a sister, I did check.

I suspect I am romantically challenged. All I can think of is what a great idea this is for a financial services mechanic. Wanna turn this into a tenner? Call me and I'll tell you how.
