Good news, I've found the Tankard (that's me with it above, I'm the one in the sunglasses).
Some time ago we were trying to send it to Nigeria, for no reason what so ever, but then I lost it. Turns out that it was in storage all along. So if people are up for it I'm happy to start sending it on again, as we never did get the thing to Nigeria.
So far it's been to Dan (who is co-owner of the project, sort of, before he had a beard).
It's been to Munich, with Marcus (before he looked like a madman).
It went drinking in Paris, with Kirsty (before she had a face).
It did some cultural stuff in Spain, with Javier (before he got his second arm).
Then it went skiing for Christmas (everyone needs a break).
Then it broke.
But went back together, with the help of some glue.
So who would like it next?
All you have to do is do something fun with it while you have it (a movie, or perhaps a meal), and then pass it on to the next person. It's pretty fragile these days, so you also have to promise to be gentle.
Leave details in the comments and I'll work out a schedule.
Things are looking up, good afternoon.
"Before he looked like a madman"? When the fuck was that, before the laptop cord incident?

No, when he had short hair, like you.

Ben, I can't believe you thought I stole the tankard.

I've always looked "like that"

So, it's everyone against Ben.

I'd be happy to introduce the tankard to China.

And then from China, it's not far to Australia. Well, not compared to London at least.

Thanks, Dollar.
Lauren, that's a great idea.
We're off.

Is Dan a place?

More like a state of mind.

Best blog ever.
Posted by: Marcus | 04/06/2009 at 03:03 PM
After Australia could it come to the US?
Posted by: Maria | 04/06/2009 at 05:24 PM
Thanks, Marcus, maybe the Tankard should come your way at some point again?
Maria, of course you can host after Australia, and hello.
Posted by: Paul H. Colman | 04/06/2009 at 07:38 PM
Yea! hello.
Posted by: Maria | 04/06/2009 at 07:58 PM
Do you have a blog to post pictures? (Don't worry if not, you can send them to me.)
Posted by: Paul H. Colman | 04/06/2009 at 08:04 PM
Nope, I'll email/twitpic/flickr
Posted by: Maria | 04/06/2009 at 08:27 PM
It's not a proper tankard until it's seen some chrome pole action.Somebody has to do it.
Might as well be me.

I'd love to see it again. Maybe in October? For the Oktoberfest? Maybe we could do some Oktoberfest action? I always come to London, maybe time that you lot came to Munich?

Marcus - have you got a Bavarian hideaway ?
Posted by: Tom | 04/07/2009 at 09:42 AM
Maria, good - thanks.
Marcus, nice idea, but you know I need to check these things with Ben.
Tom, good morning.
Posted by: Paul H. Colman | 04/07/2009 at 09:44 AM
Tom - no. Don't be silly.
Paul - yes, of course. Have a committee meeting.

This post is just an excuse to cynically recycle all the previous tankard material. Excellent stuff, this blog just gets better and better.

About those sunglasses...

I could take the tankard around Hamburg. There is a street where only men and tankards are allowed to go.
Posted by: Seb | 04/07/2009 at 03:35 PM
I know that street Paul. It's a good street. Send it to Seb.
Hello Seb.
Posted by: Marcus | 04/07/2009 at 05:31 PM
Cheers, Dave. Maybe you could take the Tankard with you on your first day in your new job.
Seb, you're on.
Doddsy, watch it.

Hello Marcus, thanks Paul.
If the timing is right the tankard may have the chance to not only see the street where only men and tankards are allowed to go but move to the capital and spend some quality time at the Berlin Wall.
Posted by: Seb | 04/08/2009 at 09:20 AM
Berlin Wall? The Tankard is not a tourist Seb.
